What is Skyward Family Access?
Skyward Family Access is an informational resource made available to every family at no cost. This resource provides real-time information about your child's demographics, grades, attendance, report cards and class schedule. Skyward Family Access provides safe, secure and easy access to your child's school record.
How do I sign up for Skyward Family Access?
Parent IDs can be obtained by email or phone. You may contact Skyward Family access support via email FamilyAccess@wlcsd.org. Please leave your name, the name of each child in the district, your email address and a daytime phone number. We will contact you within 3 business days.
Student IDs can be obtained for grades 6-12 from the CRT at your child's building.
I have children at different schools. Will I need a user name and password for each child?
No, under most circumstances, one user name and password will provide you with access to information for all your children. If you do not see all your children once you log in to Skyward Family Access, contact us at FamilyAccess@wlcsd.org.
Do I have to apply for a new user name and password every school year?
No, once you receive your initial user name and password, it stays with your family until your youngest student graduates from high school or is no longer enrolled in Walled Lake Schools.
How do I change my password?
To change your password in Skyward Family Access, you need to log in. Once you are at the main display for Skyward Family Access, please click the button in the upper right hand corner of the display that says Account Info. This button will show you all of your account information and how to change your password. You will be required to provide your current password when changing to a new password.
How secure is my child's information?
Skyward Family Access is username and password protected. For this reason, we ask that you not share your username and password. In addition, Walled Lake Consolidated Schools has implemented strong encryption technology (SSL) that protects all data transmitted between your web browser and our web server. All student data is stored behind a secure firewall.
Is there a difference between a parent and student username and password?
Yes, parents will see some different information that students won’t see and vice versa. Please be sure to use your own log in for Skyward Family Access so you have access to all the parent tools that are available. We advise you not to share the parent username and password with students.
How do I contact someone with questions about my username or password?

Why aren't all grades available at the same time?
Skyward Family Access provides real-time information. Since teachers input grades over a period of time, not all grades will show up at the same time.
