College and Post-Secondary Information

College Application Process

Please review the College Planning Guide that was given in senior seminar. 

  1. Make sure you have registered and set up your own account on parchment.com. First and last names, birth date and your graduation year must match Walled Lake Western's school records.
  2. Complete all college applications online through Common App or directly through the college.
  3. Have your transcripts sent through Parchment to any college to which you are applying. Send one to yourself as well, and check it to make sure any grade changes, summer classes, etc. have been updated.
  4. Submit router form to counseling secretary. 
  5. Submit Brag Sheet only if needed.

*Note - Transcripts requests are processed several times weekly.

Walled Lake Western College Visits

College presentations are open to juniors and seniors only. Students MUST register for each presentation electronically no later than the day before the presentation. 

All students are limited to five college presentations. You are responsible for all work missed in class.
